Operating under a five-year cooperative agreement, HRH2030 assists countries through the deployment of country-based teams that offer the appropriate mix of expertise to address human resources for health (HRH) bottlenecks that impede effective care. Consortium members include:

 

Chemonics Chemonics brings experience implementing projects in more than 145 countries, an ISO-certified quality management system, and multidisciplinary technical expertise in health systems, family planning, maternal and child health, tuberculosis, malaria and HIV/AIDS. Chemonics provides overall leadership and management of the program, as well as technical leadership in cross-sector approaches, labor market analysis, community mobilization, and organizational development.

University Research Company (URC) URC provides leadership in health systems strengthening, including health workforce development, quality improvement approaches, and HR resource allocation. On HRH2030, URC provides technical direction for quality improvement and HR management, including performance improvement, staff utilization, and clinic management. They also contribute to research on health workforce and worker effectiveness.

Palladium Palladium is a global health consulting firm with more than 40 years of experience working globally in areas such as policy, HSS, and research and strategic information. Palladium provides technical expertise in HRH policy and advocacy, HRH costing and financing, health informatics, and data demand and use.

Amref Health Africa Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Amref brings innovative training solutions for HRH, including models for online training using low-cost mobile devices. Pulling resources from its Management Development Institute, Amref offers intensive training aimed at enhancing the leadership and management skills of program managers and leaders of sub-Saharan African organizations.

American International Health Alliance (AIHA) AIHA brings noted expertise in institutional strengthening and medical education. AIHA’s twinning approaches build effective academic institutions and associations for health and other social service professions. AIHA assists universities and training institutions to develop pre-service curricula that are based on evidence and integrates tailored, state-of-the-art training approaches.

ThinkWell ThinkWell is a health systems development organization focused on helping countries to achieve Universal Health Coverage. Rooted in analytics, ThinkWell focuses on the intersection between health financing with other key elements of the health sector.

Open Development Open Development is a woman-owned small business with experience implementing USAID Forward reforms in health. Open Development augments the HRH2030 team with proven ability to design and facilitate local partnership building.
