Activity
Improving the availability, accessibility, quality, and acceptability of human resources for health (HRH) requires the collaboration of stakeholders from multiple sectors. While there are several well-documented examples of multisectoral collaboration for higher-level strategic planning and policy development, there are fewer examples of multisectoral collaboration to address locally-specific issues affecting service delivery. There is a need to strengthen the competencies of recognized local leaders to formulate, implement, and evaluate strategic health interventions designed to overcome these issues.
Through this activity, HRH2030 will assemble and support a critical mass of local leaders in priority FP2020 countries to:
