Philippine Department of Health Launches e-Learning Platform with Support from USAID’s HRH2030

On October 25, 2019 the Philippine Department of Health launched an e-learning platform, developed in partnership with USAID/Philippines and USAID’s HRH2030 program, which will standardize core training courses for health workers into online modules. By offering required training courses that can be accessed anytime and anywhere, more Filipino health workers will remain at their posts and the resulting cost-savings will be reinvested into improving health services. By strengthening the capacity of the health workforce, Filipinos are able to access quality healthcare and services needed to maintain a healthy population.
