25 Mar Webinar: How the Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting Approach Can Strengthen Organizational Capacity Development (Lessons from Colombia)
Webinar (March 25, 2020, 57 min): In 2019, HRH2030’s Colombia activity was recognized by USAID as a winner in its Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) Case Competition for using CLA approaches in its work with the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (ICBF). HRH2030 has been supporting ICBF since April 2018 to strengthen the Colombia social service workforce to provide violence prevention and protection services to children and families. By using technical evidence to inform intervention planning and incorporating monitoring and evaluation practices for reflection and learning from the onset, HRH2030 successfully enhanced strategic collaboration with ICBF and provided useful interventions and recommendations to strengthen social services.
This webinar, part of CARE’s Evidence to Action Webinar Series and in support of their approach to adaptive management, describes and discusses the CLA approaches implemented in partnership with ICBF at the national, regional, and local levels in Colombia. Presenters also share tips for effectively incorporating and adapting CLA approaches for other activities.
