Webinar: Optimizing Health Worker Performance through Digital Approaches for Supportive Supervision

Webinar: Optimizing Health Worker Performance through Digital Approaches for Supportive Supervision

(Webinar December 14, 2021): The provision of high-quality health care to individuals, families, and communities requires a skilled, motivated, adequately supported, and equipped health workforce. Many low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), however, face significant deficiencies in both the quantity and quality of their health workforce. Numerous strategies exist to support improvements in health worker performance, and health system managers seek evidence-based strategies to respond to their needs and contexts. The COVID-19 pandemic has further strained under resourced health systems and overworked health workers.

On December 14, 2021, HRH2030 convened a panel of experts who discussed the role of digital supervision approaches to optimize health workforce performance, and consider potential opportunities for scaling and sustaining successful efforts to advance the agenda for high-quality health services in LMICs.
