15 Jul Webinar: HRH2030 Health Workforce Resilience Prize Informational Webinar
(Webinar February 19, 2020, 30:27): Disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and political instability are episodic, complex problems that can impact a health system. Other challenges are chronic issues, such as recurring supply stock outs, lack of electricity or water, difficult geographies, and poorly staffed facilities. Health workers—the backbone of the health system—often show remarkable ingenuity and innovation when dealing with these issues so that they can provide the health services their communities need. In recognition of health worker adaptability and resourcefulness, HRH2030 introduced the HRH2030 Health Workforce Resilience Prize to identify successful solutions that strengthen the resilience of the health workforce.
To launch the Health Workforce Resilience Prize, we hosted an informational webinar on February 19, 2020, that featured a description of the prize and the application process, as well as a question and answer session.
