By building the capacity of existing human resources, reorganizing services, strengthening the financial and accounting management system, and improving the use of data for decision-making, National Malaria Control Programs (NMCP) can make significant progress towards achieving its vector control objectives. Through the NMCP’s leadership and dynamic determination, as well as its employees’ willingness and desire to do a good job, the NMCP can overcome organizational obstacles and play its role as a leader in malaria control in Togo and a guide to its partners.
In this assessment report, HRH2030 Capacity Building for Malaria (CBM) activity evaluated the organizational capacity of Togo’s National Malaria Control Program to fulfil its management role and coordinate the implementation and monitoring of its National Strategic Plan (NSP) to achieve the expected results as stated in the 2016-2020 NSP for malaria control. The action plan and recommendations developed will provide the NMCP with a roadmap to improve its organizational mandate and strengthen the implementation, monitoring, and coordination of malaria control strategies in accordance with the NSP.

Evaluation de la capacité organisationnelle du Programme National de Lutte contre le Paludisme (PNLP) en Togo
En renforçant les capacités des ressources humaines existantes, en réorganisant les services, en renforçant le système de gestion financière et comptable et en améliorant l’utilisation des données pour la prise de décision, les Programmes Nationaux de Lutte contre le Paludisme (PNLP) peuvent faire des progrès significatif vers l’atteinte de leurs objectifs de lutte antivectorielle. Grâce au leadership et à la volonté dynamique du PNLP, ainsi qu’à la volonté et au désir de faire du bon travail de ses employés, le PNLP peut surmonter les obstacles organisationnels et jouer son rôle de leader dans la lutte contre le paludisme en Togo et de guide pour ses partenaires.
Dans ce rapport d’évaluation, l’activité de enforcement des capacités contre le paludisme de HRH2030 a évalué la capacité organisationnelle du Programme national de lutte contre le paludisme de Togo à remplir son rôle de gestion et à coordonner la mise en œuvre et le suivi de son Plan Stratégique National (PSN) pour atteindre les objectifs escomptés. résultats tels qu’énoncés dans le PSN 2016-2020 pour la lutte contre le paludisme. Le plan d’action et les recommandations élaborés fourniront au PNLP une feuille de route pour améliorer son mandat organisationnel et renforcer la mise en œuvre, le suivi et la coordination des stratégies de lutte contre le paludisme conformément au PSN.
