12 Jan Final Report: HRH2030 in the Philippines
In the Philippines, HRH2030 supported the Philippines Department of Health (DOH) to strengthen recruitment, deployment, development, retention, and performance management of the health workforce to improve access to quality tuberculosis, family planning , and maternal and child health services for vulnerable populations. HRH2030 also supported the DOH in advancing universal health coverage (UHC) through the development of a National HRH Master Plan.
From October 2017 through June 2020, HRH2030’s research and assessments provided evidence to assist the DOH and local governments to develop sound policies and strategic direction related to human resources for health to increase access to quality health services.
The HRH2030 Philippines Final Report details the program’s interventions and achievements, and includes conclusions and lessons learned that will be useful for further advancing UHC in the Philippines.
